Meet the Cast and Crew

Kim Kay

Marion

Kim is thrilled to be back at the Fringe, her favourite Winnipeg summer event. She was last seen on stage in The Towpath with An Seanchai Theatre Company. Kim has worked with many independent and community theatre groups across the prairies, including The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Winnipeg, Sarasvati Productions, Crosswalk Players, Regina Little Theatre, Regina Lyric Musical Theatre, and Edmonton's Theatre YES. This show, her first with Pilgrims' Pieces, marks her 17th Fringe Festival appearance.  

Scott Pilgrim

Arthur/Producer

Scott has been a part of the Winnipeg Fringe Festival scene since 2002 as a performer, director and producer. It’s hard to say exactly how many shows he’s done over the years (mostly as the memory just ain’t what it used to be), but he’s excited to take yet another kick at the can. 
Previous show highlights include playing Agador: The Birdcage in 2025, Emcee: Cabaret in 2012 and Vespa: So You Think You Can Be A Music Theatre Idol All-Stars in 2011.
As co-producer of On Tidy Endings, he hopes this is the start of many more to come for Pilgrims’ Pieces.

Megan Krohn

June

Megan is looking forward to returning to the Fringe stage after working behind the scenes as director and co-producer for many years. She was last seen onstage at the Fringe in the 2019 sketch comedy – Strokes of Genius, and has shared the stage with Scott and Froskr in many shows including Birdcage and Cabaret. Having lived experience as a caregiver for her partner after his stroke, this play holds a special place in her heart. This is her first show with Pilgrims’ Pieces. This year, Megan is also co-directing “Captain Ted: Disabled Astronaut”, which is showing at Venue 23.

Cole Hjorth

Jimmy

Cole, age 11, is beyond excited to make his stage debut in this production. This is his very first show with the Fringe, and he’s been having a blast (and only forgot his lines…a few times). When he’s not on stage, Cole can be found launching into parkour adventures, paddle boarding like a pro, building awesome woodworking creations, or levelling up in his favourite video games. He’d like to thank the cast and directors for being amazing. Enjoy the show!

Froskr Pilgrim

Director/Producer/Sound Technician

Froskr has been involved in theatre for 44 years. This is his first attempt at directing since 2005 and has enjoyed the challenge of telling such a poignant and heart filled story. He has been involved with several productions at the Fringe Festival including a role as Armand in The Bird Cage in its deput performance 11 years ago, and as Albert in The Bird Cage this last year. This year he is also involved in Stark Raving Productions' performance of Our Father at Venue 1, the John Hirsch Mainstage.
