When you select our elopement package, we provide two secrecy-bound witnesses to fulfill legal requirements and protect your privacy. When you choose a beloved friend or family member to lead your ceremony, The Guide at Your Side provides experienced support to ensure the rite is both deeply personal and legally sound. We advise your chosen officiant through the art of writing the ceremony and carefully review the script to include all required legal components.
The Legal Signatory: Additionally, we can attend your celebration as a legal signatory to sign your marriage license before, during, or after the ceremony—completely removing the need for your loved one to apply for a Temporary Marriage Officiant certificate.

Ceremony Assistance: $50.00 + GST

What Is Handfasting?

During the ceremony, the couple's hands are gently bound together with cord, ribbon, or fabric—often representing the tying of the knot and the union of their lives, paths, and spirits in front of witnesses or the elements.​
