About Your Celebrant Froskr Pilgrim

Hail and well met. My name is Froskr Pilgrim. I grew up in Altona, a small town on the wide, open prairies of Southern Manitoba, where I learned the deep value of community and the strength of family roots. Later in life, after marrying my husband, we moved to Winnipeg. Navigating the rhythm of city life taught me how to pivot gracefully with life’s little—and big—storms, a grounding skill that serves me well when holding space for couples on their wedding day.
 
It was our own wedding that seeded my desire to walk the path of a celebrant. Our ceremony was simple, joyful, and elegant, officiated by a family friend who showed me a vital truth: ceremonies do not need to conform to a cookie-cutter mold. They can be a living reflection of who you truly are.

What Is a Celebrant

Some say a celebrant is simply the person who stands at the front of the room. Others broaden it to anyone who performs a rite of passage.
 
To me, a celebrant is a Lead Celebrator—the guide who helps anchor the energy, weaves your story together, and sets a sacred, intentional tone for the milestone ahead. I would be honored to hold that space for you.

My Path and Spiritual Roots

I am a practicing pagan, witch, and Norse Heathen living in Winnipeg. My spiritual framework is deeply informed by earth-centered traditions, folklore, and the lore of the North, anchored by formal training and ordination:

• Norse Heathenry & Earth-Centered Spirituality: My practice is rooted in a deep reverence for the land, the turning of the seasons, and the ancestral wisdom of the old northern ways—honoring the spirits of place and the sacredness of right relationship. 
  

• Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD): Formally trained within OBOD, grounding my work in storytelling, connection to nature, and the creative spark of the Awen. 
  

• Universal Life Church (ULC): Ordained to ensure your legal marriages and sacred unions are fully recognized in most faiths. 
  

• Ministry Arts Foundation: I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Arts from Bethany College in Hepburn, SK, giving me a strong, compassionate foundation in ritual structure, public speaking, and pastoral care.

Your Day, Your Way

While my personal hearth is warmed by Norse Heathenry, witchcraft, and earth-centered traditions, your ceremony belongs entirely to you. I am here to honor your beliefs, your love story, and your vision—whether you desire a traditional Norse oathing ceremony, a woodland handfasting under ancient boughs, a secular celebration filled with laughter, a faith filled ceremony based on scripture, or a meaningful blend of them all.
 
Your wedding is your rite of passage. I would be enchanted and deeply delighted to be a part of it.
